Threads of Change: Inspired by the Refashion Show

Attending the Refashion Show in Alexandria, VA (06/06/25) was like stepping into a vibrant, living collage of creativity, community, and purpose. Surrounded by designers, makers, and artists all working toward the same goal—reducing waste and reimagining fashion—I felt completely at home. It was inspiring to be immersed in a space where sustainability wasn’t just an idea, but a way of life expressed through color, form, and function.

Being around so many like-minded people reminded me why I started Berryfine Goods in the first place. My mission has always been to help people downsize with dignity, preserve meaning in objects, and divert as much as possible from the landfill. Whether it’s through consignment, house cleanouts, or my recycled material art, I want to keep showing others that beauty and value don’t have to be brand-new.

This experience reignited my hope that Berryfine Goods and my art can continue to grow—touching more lives, inspiring more people, and showing that sustainability can be joyful, practical, and deeply creative. Here’s to building a future where less waste means more connection, more imagination, and more beauty.
